Spain advanced to the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Belgium 2-1 in their quarter-final match at Los Angeles Stadium today.

Fabián Ruiz opened the scoring for Spain in the 30th minute, before Charles De Ketelaere equalised for Belgium in the 41st. Mikel Merino then struck the winner for Spain in the 88th minute.

Spain will face France in the semi-finals after the French side advanced at Morocco’s expense.
