Steven J. Backman has been creating one-of-a-kind toothpick art for over 50 years. What began as a childhood hobby has become a passion for creating world renowned toothpick art.

Steven has created a miniature replica of Tokyo Skytree from a single toothpick. It contains several details found on the tallest free-standing broadcasting tower in the world.

During a recent interview, Steven said "I have created a miniature replica of Tokyo Skytree. I did not use loupes or magnification to make this sculpture. I only used my eyes, a straight edged razor blade, needle nose pliers, a little glue and a lot of patience."
