The International Humanitarian Summit 2022 (IHS), an independent forum committed to improving the state of the world to promote dialogues for regional and global humanitarian development, is all set to begin on 30th March 2022 at Dubai Exhibition Center, Expo 2020.

The event will oversee IHS signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Ashoka Arab World, Egyptian Food Bank and Mersal Foundation. The one-day event promises to be an engaging platform to cultivate knowledge, increase awareness and access leading academic archives, overseeing a powerful line-up of sessions including a Fireside Chat, which will focus on Building a Strong Humanitarian Society for a Better World. This discussion will witness high-profile speakers as Her Royal Highness Princess Lamia Bint Majed Saud AlSaud, Secretary General, Alwaleed Philanthropies, Zondwa Mandela, Chairman, Mandela Legacy Foundation discussion their views and thoughts.

Additionally, the summit will also showcase a presentation on The International Humanitarian City, Sharing its Dubai Model from the Largest Humanitarian Hub in the World. The Summit will host several panel discussions focusing on ‘Global extreme Poverty, Post Pandemic Effect – Undernutrition as an Aggravating Death Factor’, ‘Disability Inclusion – Protection Tools for People with Disabilities in Dangerous Contexts (In Partnership with Union of Arab Chambers & UNIDO)’, ‘The Health Care Aid in Fragile Contexts’, ‘Financial Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups – women, over-indebtedness, unemployed, and elderly Approach’. The Summit will also emphasise the Role of Philanthropist During Times of Uncertainty and Crisis in a one-on-one conversation with Valerie Nkamgang Bemo, Deputy Director, Global Development, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The Summit gathers under its umbrella parties like, intellectuals, philosophers, governmental institutions, private sector organizations, human rights and philanthropic institutions, religious institutions, artists, media professional, cultural associations, nongovernmental organizations, research institutes, educational institutions, influencers, and youth.
