On 13 December, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates will witness one of the most diverse and dynamic celebrations of global citizenship with a stellar fundraising evening illuminated by musical talents and award-winning performers.

“The Gala will be an intimate and authentic celebration of humanity,” shares Global Citizen Forum CEO, Talimka Yordanova. “We are incredibly excited to welcome some of the world’s most talented artists to share the stage together in honor of our mission.”

The acclaimed Global Citizen Forum Gala returns to the global stage with one of its most captivating lineups to date — cue Grammy-nominated singer and performer, Nicole Scherzinger, international DJ and producer Afrojack, Grammy-Award winning artist, Wyclef Jean, Award-Winning Poet and UNHCR Ambassador, Emi Mahmoud, and viral X Factor performer, Emmanuel Kelly.

The 2021 Global Citizen Forum Award will be presented to actress, producer and director, philanthropist, activist, and entrepreneur, Eva Longoria in honor of her work with underprivileged communities and her commitment to change the narrative on their untapped potential. Nominated each year by GCF Board of Advisors to exemplary individuals with outstanding and consistent contribution to the movement of global citizenship.

“I’m a firm believer in the potential of global citizenship as a catalyst for change. In order to create a better world for future generations, we need to start seeing the world through a global lens and tap into the power of human talent, education and innovation, all of which are indiscriminate to race, culture, religion, or nationality,” Longoria shares in an interview with Global Citizen magazine.

The Gala will also include a benefit auction with an impressive item list in support of the Global Gift Foundation, a non-profit that promotes women empowerment and advocates for gender equality through education and professional development.

“I am honored to be part of the Global Citizen Forum as its impact worldwide is so important. As someone who has spent many years driving the positive narrative of female empowerment, it is so powerful to be amongst such inspirational people all using this platform and theirs to make change, be kind and develop a strong conversation,” shares the Founder of the Global Gift Foundation, Maria Bravo.

The Global Citizen Forum Gala will close the empowering 2-day event hosted in partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA). As the Global Citizen Forum’s first carbon-conscious event, organizers are anticipating record turnout while following strict health and sanitation protocols to ensure the safety of the participants.
