Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, H.E. Shaukat Aziz, Indian Billionaire and CEO, Zoho Corporation, Sridhar Vembu and Yu Tao, President and CEO, China State Construction Engineering Corp Middle East (CSCEC ME), are three of the top dignitaries who will be sharing their perspectives at the Fourth ABLF Talks Virtual Conclave of 2021 on April 6, to be held at the cutting edge virtual venue the ABLF City. The event is being held in partnership with global Indian conglomerate, the Aditya Birla Group who joins the platform as Platinum Partner. The Conclave is also supported by a prestigious line-up of partners including Etisalat and Aster DM Healthcare as well as FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry), Cicero & Bernay PR, Entrepreneur Middle East, Zee, WION, CNBC Arabia, Arab News and MAA and Partners.

Held under the presence and patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Economy, the knowledge-led conversations at the ABLF Talks serve to provide a stage for leaders to find sustainable solutions to prepare organisations to cope with the impact of the pandemic, explore the capabilities of the next-generation in providing a roadmap to complex problems and examine how advanced data analytics can be applied to seek answers.

The ABLF Talks Virtual Conclaves is in its seventh month (with three events held in 2020 and three so far in 2021 in January, February and March) and attracts an audience of 30,000 from around the world with 22,500 live users.

As always, the April Conclave too brings together stalwart Speakers who will suggest ways to transform the industry and discuss policy changes to bring a COVID-19 impacted economy back on track. Here is a brief profile of the speakers:

H.E. Shaukat Aziz, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan; Chairman, Boao Forum for Asia

H.E. Shaukat Aziz served as PM of Pakistan from 2004-2007, following five years as Finance Minister from 1999. Known for his strategic approach, structural reforms and transparency, he is credited for transforming the country’s economy. H.E. Aziz will outline why leaders must adopt a long-term perspective to come out stronger to cope with the crisis.

Sridhar Vembu, Co-Founder and CEO, Zoho Corporation

In 2019, Sridhar Vembu, the 59th richest Indian in the world according to Forbes, made headlines when he moved to a small village in Tamil Nadu, India, transforming it into a coding hub of creativity and commerce. Mr Vembu will speak about the changing definition of globalisation at the Conclave.

H.E. Pavan Kapoor, Ambassador of India to the UAE

In a diplomatic career spanning over three decades, Ambassador Kapoor has served in Indian missions in Moscow, Kyiv, London and Geneva as well as an international civil servant with the Commonwealth Secretariat in London. He will shed light on the challenges of carrying out one of the largest repatriation exercises and the leadership lessons in handling COVID-19.

Yu Tao, President and CEO, China State Construction Engineering Corp Middle East (CSCEC ME)

With over 20 years of extensive overseas experience in the field of construction, Mr Yu has become one of the most important leaders of the industry in the Middle East. Mr Yu will share his views on the construction industry’s future, especially with technological changes sweeping the sector.

Zanubia Shams, Co-Chairperson, Zulekha Healthcare Group, UAE

Healthcare ambassador and entrepreneur Zanubia Shams has taken the Zulekha Healthcare group to new heights with her innovative initiatives. A firm proponent of blending technology with operations, Ms Zanubia’s session will focus on ways to meet the healthcare objectives enlisted in the UN SDGs that were disrupted due to the pandemic.
