MTVtoday confirmed that fierce female pop superstars Little Mix will host and perform \u2018Sweet Melody\u2019 from upcoming studio album \u2018Confetti’ in the \u201c2020 MTV EMAs\u201d airing in 180 countries and territories.  The show will feature performances from the hottest artists and celebrate the power of music in 2020.  In Middle East,the show will be live exclusively on the \u201cMTV LIVE HD\u201d channel on Sunday, November 8th<\/sup> at 11:00 pm GST with the Red Carpet\/Preshow starting at 10:00 pm GST. The show can later be viewed on the OSN Streaming Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTV revealed Little Mix as the hosts of this year\u2019s EMA by releasing an animated teaser featuring the band as cartoon superheroes. The animation was created in partnership with the production company Eddy<\/a>\/Blinkink and young French collective Potto and will be broadcast across MTV International regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little Mix also nabbed four \u201c2020 MTV EMA\u201d nominations for \u201cBest Pop\u201d alongside BTS, DuaLipa, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, \u201cBest Group\u201d alongside 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, BTS, Chloe x Halle and CNCO as well as a nomination for \u201cBest Virtual Live\u201d for \u201cUNCancelled\u201d and a \u201cBest UK & Ireland Act\u201d local act nomination joining artists Harry Styles, DuaLipa, Dave and Stormzy. Last year they won their 4th MTV EMA Award for \u201cBest UK & Ireland Act\u201d at the 2019 ceremony in Seville, Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have established themselves as the world\u2019s biggest girl band having sold over 50 million records worldwide, collected over 17 million Spotify listeners, received over 3 billion YouTube views, and collated 12 billion streams worldwide. 2019 witnessed Little Mix win their second Brit Award \u2013 for Best British Video for \u2018Woman Like Me\u2019, and perform the same song live at the ceremony.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September, Little Mix launched a brand-new TV series for BBC One, Little Mix The Search<\/em>. Additionally, they announced ‘Confetti’, a massive UK and Ireland Arena Tour for 2021. The tour will see Little Mix perform songs from their brand new upcoming album ‘Confetti’, due for release on November 6th<\/sup>, such as the 2020 smash hit ‘Holiday’, written by Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne with Kamille and produced by Goldfingers and ‘Break Up Song’, that has so far been streamed 60 million times becoming their 15th UK Official Charts Top 10 hit with 300k UK sales. Additionally, the tour will include some of their greatest hits including ‘Touch’, ‘ Woman Like Me’, \u2018Black Magic\u2019 and ‘Shout Out To My Ex’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British pop quartet sensations, who will shoot in London, join previously announced performers Sam Smith, Maluma, Doja Cat, YUNGBLUD and Zara Larsson. Additional performers and presenters to be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTV recently announced nominations for the \u201c2020 MTV EMAs.\u201d Lady Gaga is in the lead with seven nods, including \u201cBest Artist,\u201d \u201cBest Pop,\u201d and \u201cBest Video\u201d for her duet with Ariana Grande, \u201cRain On Me,\u201d which also secured a position in the \u201cBest Song\u201d and \u201cBest Collaboration\u201d categories.
