UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, today announced that Lebanese social media influencer Karen Wazenhas been named as a High Profile Supporter of UNHCR for her dedication and commitment to raising awareness of the plight of refugees and displaced populations across the region over the past three years. The title was officially given to Karenat a signing ceremony held at the UNHCR offices in International Humanitarian City, Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She represented UNHCR at the launch of MADE51 at Virgin Megastores in the presence of Sir Richard Branson and has consistently supported UNHCR\u2019s Ramadan and Winter campaigns, as well as other emergency appeals, leveraging her profile with her audience to raise awareness on the plight of displaced populations to give avoice to refugees worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
