The increase reflects strong travel momentum ahead of the holiday, as residents increasingly plan and compare options more strategically to maximise both value and convenience.<\/p>\n<p>The latest travel patterns also point towards growing demand for shared travel experiences, with many UAE travellers prioritising family-focused trips, meaningful connections and destinations that offer accessibility, convenience and stronger overall travel value during peak holiday periods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Family-led travel continues to shape Eid planning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Family travel remains one of the defining travel behaviours among UAE residents, particularly during major holiday periods such as Eid Al Adha, where extended breaks and school holidays continue to encourage group travel planning.<\/p>\n<p>Previous Skyscanner research found that 41% of UAE travellers are planning to travel with family, including trips involving parents, children and grandparents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The trend is particularly prominent among younger travellers:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 51% of Gen Z adults have travelled with their parents over the past two years<br \/>\n\u2022 31% of Millennials have travelled with both their children and parents<br \/>\n\u2022 31% of Gen Z travellers have taken trips involving both parents and grandparents<\/p>\n<p>Making memories continues to remain a key travel driver, with 62% of UAE travellers saying shared experiences and quality time are among the main reasons behind family travel, while 52% prioritise strengthening family bonds through travel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Smarter planning shapes Eid travel behaviour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As travellers navigate busy holiday demand and evolving travel conditions, UAE residents are increasingly taking a more strategic approach to travel planning by comparing routes, balancing convenience with budget and booking earlier to secure better options.<\/p>\n<p>Skyscanner search data also highlights continued demand across both regional and international destinations this Eid Al Adha, reflecting how travellers are balancing shorter family getaways with wider summer travel ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>Among the <strong>most searched destination countries<\/strong> from the UAE during the Eid planning period were:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>India<\/li>\n<li>Pakistan<\/li>\n<li>Egypt<\/li>\n<li>Turkey<\/li>\n<li>Sri Lanka<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The destination mix reflects continued demand for family-led and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travel, alongside growing interest in destinations that offer convenient connectivity, cultural familiarity and strong value during peak travel periods.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this growing focus on smarter travel planning, travellers are also increasingly using flexible search tools to navigate more complex itineraries and busy travel periods.
