Porsche\u2019s latest concept study, the Mission X hypercar, will be one of the highlights of this year\u2019s Icons of Porsche festival, held in the Dubai Design District on 25-26 November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The all-electric Mission X will be flanked by the three supercars which paved the way and have each contributed to the development of Porsche\u2019s road and race cars over the decades, the all-wheel-drive 959, the V10-powered Carrera GT V10 and the hybrid 918 Spyder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mission X is a dramatic-looking two-seaterre interpretation of a hypercar, with Le Mans-style doors that open upwards to the front and is driven by a high-performance, efficient electric powertrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vision of Mission X, should it go into production, is that it should be the fastest road-legal vehicle around the N\u00fcrburgring Nordschleife, have a power-to-weight ratio of roughly one PS per kilogram and achieve downforce in excess of those delivered by the current 911 GT3 RS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should also offer significantly improved charging performance with its 900-volt system architecture that should charge roughly twice as quickly as Porsche\u2019s current frontrunner, the Taycan Turbo S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exciting display of regional premieres<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On the 75th Anniversary of the Porsche sportscar, the fully electric Vision 357 Speedster Concept will make its regional debut at Icons of Porsche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In design terms an homage to the 356, technologically the all-electric Porsche Vision 357 Speedster is based on the 718 GT4 e-Performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOn an occasion such as the 75th<\/sup> Anniversary of Porsche, it is a privilege to have this modern interpretation of Ferry Porsche\u2019s original dream with us for Icons of Porsche,\u201d said Br\u00e4unl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also on display during the two-day festival will also be the Porsche 718 Spyder RS.
