{"id":14659,"date":"2022-03-01T09:56:01","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T05:56:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pressreleasenetwork.com\/site\/?p=14659"},"modified":"2022-03-01T09:56:04","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T05:56:04","slug":"the-worlds-tallest-hotel-ciel-surpasses-construction-milestone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pressreleasenetwork.com\/site\/2022\/03\/01\/the-worlds-tallest-hotel-ciel-surpasses-construction-milestone\/","title":{"rendered":"The World\u2019s Tallest Hotel, Ciel, Surpasses Construction Milestone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Integrated global property developer, The First Group, can reveal the construction of its largest and most ambitious project to date, Ciel, has now reached its halfway point, with work on the megastructure continuing beyond its 52<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ciel, which will be the world\u2019s tallest hotel upon completion, is well on track to meet its scheduled completion date in the fourth quarter of 2023, with the grand opening scheduled for the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the broader challenges presented by Covid-19 to the construction sector over the past two years, work on Ciel has continued unabated throughout the pandemic, a feat that is testament to the commitment and dedication of the project\u2019s design and construction teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed by award-winning architectural firm NORR, the 365-metre tall skyscraper is being built by The First Group\u2019s chief development partner, China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recognised as the world\u2019s second largest construction and engineering company by revenue, CRCC is bringing its globally renowned expertise in mega developments to building Ciel, which is set to become Dubai\u2019s newest architectural icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When completed, Ciel will house more than 1,000 guestrooms and suites, as well as premium guest amenities and facilities, such as the Ciel Observatory & Lounge on the 81<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0floor and a signature rooftop Sky Terrace featuring a stunning infinity pool and bar affording sweeping panoramic views of Dubai\u2019s world-famous skyline, the Palm Jumeirah and Arabian Gulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cCiel will set a new benchmark for innovative design in super-tall buildings, not just in Dubai, but globally,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0explained\u00a0<strong>Danny Lubert, Co-Founder of The First Group<\/strong>.\u00a0<em>\u201cWe are very fortunate to have had Yahya Yan, the visionary president of NOOR, lead our design team on this flagship project.
