Cartoon Network\u2019s anti-bullying song, \u201cLinakon dawman Asdiqaa\u201d (\u201cLet\u2019s always be friends\u201d), has passed one million views on YouTube since its launch in November 2021. The song was launched as part of its annual anti-bullying campaign, Buddy Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The song was performed by Kuwaiti singer Humood AlKhuder and can be found on Cartoon Network\u2019s YouTube channel <\/a>and other streaming services and encourages kids to \u201cbe a buddy, not a bully.\u201dThe accompanying music video shows a colourful animated tale depicting friendship and kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To support the latest phase of Buddy Network in the Middle East and North Africa, Cartoon Network has also released a special rap song performed by the main character, Laith, from the channel\u2019s beloved show, Laith the King. <\/em>In the song, the adventurous lion reminds children that \u201cfighting is never a solution\u201dand that friendship \u201calways wins\u201d. This sits alongside a series of awareness videos <\/a>created for Cartoon Network MENA\u2019s YouTube channel reminding kids that they are never alone and encouraging them to speak up if affected by bullying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mohamed Sheiha, Head of Marketing, Digital & Communications, WarnerMedia MENAT, said: \u201cBuddy Network aims to encourage friendship and kindness and reminds kids they must always ask for help if affected by bullying \u2013 a widespread global issue that very much affects children across the world.
