The Tourism Authority of Thailand celebrated the reopening of its borders for travellers from the Middle East with an intimate dinner event, \u2019Get Ready For Amazing Thailand 2021\u2019, at Benjarong Restaurant, Dusit Thani Hotel, featuring Thai-inspired remixes by DJ Bliss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event showcased a live cooking demonstration of Thai Massaman Curry which is recognised as the number one dish by CNN Travel\u2019s \u2018The World\u2019s 50 Best Foods\u2019, followed bya Muay Thai ritual performance, \u2018WaiKhruRam Muay\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thailand announced the reopening of its borders to travellers from the Middle East in November with the introduction of the \u2018TR\u2019 tourist visa which enables tourists to visit Thailand for up to 60 days. Recently, 5 GCC Nationals (UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar) can enter Thailand without visa and stay up to 30 days including a 14-day quarantine upon arrival. The updated tourist visa aims to revive Thailand\u2019s international tourism following the success of its domestic travel campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
