How To Get A Quality Audience For Your Webinars?

One of the most challenging parts of organising a webinar is to have a quality audience.

There are several ways of doing that.

First, give yourself enough time to promote the webinar. Based on the number of people you would like to participate in the webinar, you should work towards registering at least twice as many people.

On the appointed day, many registrants may be forced to drop out for reasons of:
Boss called me in for a last-minute meeting
Got stuck in another meeting
OMG Totally slipped my mind
What you should not accept is the excuse of someone claiming to have got stuck in traffic!

The second important point is to define your target audience. The industries of interest, size of companies, government, local, SMEs, or multinationals.

Thirdly use all channels of marketing at your disposal. Personalised email campaigns, WhatsApp messaging, Social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube.

Something that worked really well for me through personal experience has been to reach out to your contacts in your personal and business circle. Word of mouth still works wonders.

As the webinar date approaches, you may start tagging a few people who have already registered to attend so you can reach a larger audience of their network.

And then don’t underestimate the power of using hashtags. Every post should include appropriate hashtags. I have seen good content not reaching the intended audience because it could not be searched through hashtags.

Finally, ensure that your webinar is of extreme value to participants. Next time over it will be a breeze for you to have them sign in!
