The 2026 Football World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada is history. At the same time, preparations for the next World Cup tournaments are in full swing. 15 stadiums are being built for the 2034 FIFA World Cup in Saudi Arabia – eleven new facilities and four modernised arenas. fischer is involved in many of these major projects. The Group is thus further expanding its international presence in one of the world’s largest infrastructure programs in sports.
The family-owned company supplies fastening and system so lutions for the expansion of the King Fahd Sports City Stadium in the capital Riyadh, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Sta dium in Qiddiya City near Riyadh, the Jeddah Central Develop ment Stadium in Jeddah and the Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar, among others. "The stadium projects in Saudi Arabia are among the largest and most demanding construction projects in the coming years. Our involvement shows that we are a sought-af ter partner for complex large-scale projects," says Prof. Klaus Fischer, owner of the fischer Group of Companies.
The stadium buildings are part of a gigantic investment pro gramme by the host country. Several arenas are already under construction, and more will follow in the coming years.
For fischer, this continues a decades-long international success story. The company has already helped build numerous stadi ums that are considered landmarks of sport worldwide. These include the legendary Aztec Stadium in Mexico City, where the opening match of the current World Cup 2026 was played,
among others. The arena is considered one of the most famous stadiums in the world. It was here that Pelé and Diego Mara dona became world champions, and it hosted some of the most legendary matches in football history.
fischer has also helped build the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, the Estadio Monumental of the Argentine top club River Plate and the stadiums of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton in England. The company was also involved in the stadium pro jects of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Or at the famous Olympic Stadium "Bird’s Nest" in Beijing. In Germany, fischer solutions were used in the Allianz Arena and the Olympic Stadium in Mu nich, among other places.

Among other things, the company fastens air conditioning and ventilation systems, façades, technical in frastructure, reinforcement connections and seats in the stadi ums.
Saudi Arabia is one of the most important markets worldwide for the Group of Companies. At the beginning of this year, fischer opened its own subsidiary in the capital Riyadh. There are other locations in the cities of Jeddah, Dammam and Tabuk. There is also a production site in Dammam. In addition to the stadium projects, fischer is also involved in numerous very prestigious buildings. For example, at the Jeddah Tower, which will be the tallest building in the world at over one kilometre. And at the gigantic Red Sea Project – built in the middle of the desert and in the mountains. Or at the new King Salman International Air port, one of the most important air hubs in the Gulf region.
