Three prominent London-based dignitaries – H.E. Sadiq Khan, Mayor, City of London, H.E. MansoorAbulhoul, Ambassador, Embassy of the UAE to the United Kingdom and Gopichand P. Hinduja, Co-chairman, Hinduja Group and Chairman, Hinduja Automotive Ltd. – will topline the Third Conclave of The ABLF Talks Live series on December 7, 2020.

The Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF), Asia’s most influential leadership platform, launched the ABLF Talks Live, a series of Virtual Conclaves across 12 months in October 2020. The last two editionsfeatured world-renowned policymakers, thinkers and industry leaders such as H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy, UAE, DrSoumyaSwaminthan, Chief Scientist, WHO, Dr Shashi Tharoor, Indian Parliamentarian and former UN Diplomat, Jay Walder, CEO and Board Member, Virgin Hyperloop, USA and SaadiaZahidi, Managing Director, World Economic Forum, to name just a few of the eminent personalities.

ABLF Talks Live is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh NahayanMabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Economy. Hosted at The ABLF City, the virtual venue of the ABLF, the event focuses on the theme ‘Innovative Strategies for a Decade of Challenges – Asia 2020-2030’, with the narrative rallying around disruption, determination, and commitment to establish innovative solutions to adapt and pivot in the ecosystem that has emerged in the wake of the pandemic.

Further to the continuous success of the ABLF Talks Live as reflected in its Inaugural and Second Conclaves, Malini N. The topics of conversation pivot round the central theme of the ABLF Talks Live series. H.E. MansoorAbulhoul, Ambassador, Embassy of the UAE to the United Kingdom and Feryal Ahmadi, COO, DMCC, UAE, will address the issue of ‘Rethinking Globalisation’, sharing their thoughts on the future of globalisation in a world harshly affected by the pandemic.

Weijian Shan, Author and Group Chairman and CEO, PAG Group, Hong Kong, whose fascinating book Money Games tells a riveting tale of one of the most successful buyout deals ever will address the session on ‘Global Storytellers at the ABLF’. G.P. Hinduja, Co-Chairman, Hinduja Group; and Chairman, Hinduja Automotive Limited, UK, will shed light on the best business practices and the need for strong leaders in these tough times during his session on ‘A Time for Resilient Leadership’.

In the session on ‘The Long Road to Economic Stability’, H.E. Sadiq Khan, Mayor, City of London, United Kingdom and DrSangita Reddy, President, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FICCI) and Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Enterprises,will share insights on the possible challenges that world economies face on the road to recovery in a post-COVID 19 era.

Zohra Khan, Global Policy Advisor, UN Women, will hold a session titled ‘The UN SDGs: A Greater Urgency with Higher Stakes’ and focus on howcountries need to redesign and realign their SDG goals to walk the common path towards an equitable future for men and women.
