As part of planned cultural diplomacy initiatives, the Italian Cultural Institute Abu Dhabi, a body of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Embassy of Italy to the UAE, have hosted a series of webinars on topical cultural matters featuring a line-up of Italian, Emirati and GCC-based intellectuals, experts and artists. 

The final webinar titled ‘Embracing solitude: lessons from outer space‘ taking place on Sunday 06^thDecember at 6:15 PM GST, draws conclusions on the remains of human cultural experience between physical distance and the massive use of technology.

Let’s listen, among others, to the voice of the astronauts, who experience the maximum possible physical distance from the human community. 

The webinar features video greetings from Marina Sereni, Vice-Minister of Culture Italy and in charge of MENA countries whereas H.E. Hussain Al Hammadi, Minister of Education – UAE, will commence the discussions.

This webinar is part of the cultural events organised by the Italian Cultural Institute Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the other Diplomatic Missions in the GCC area and is free for all to attend.
